I agree with averything you say.
I think the quest system needs a big overhaul. It is very old code and isnt easy modifiable.

But making a new quest system is gonna take time.
I am gonna try to make some small changes here and there.
Lets see where it goes.

The reason that we don't have the option to buy gems with gold, is because gems are the representation of real money in the game. Gold becomes less valueable the higher your level becomes (as in that you need more gold later), this is also the reason the gold you can buy with gems becomes more then ...

I understand you want to know the chances of getting something from a chest. you can get 4 items max. first item: 100% chance for material with rarity equal to the chest rarity. second item: 75% chance for material with rarity 1 lower than the chest rarity. Dont worry, It doesnt matter what you did in 2.5 on sails. Because all upgrades you did t any equipment was converted to upgrade material card. I hope it will be fixed really soon.

At first I didn't understood where this problem came from, and I tried to fix it a few time without success.
For some reason I was unable to reproduce it myself. But I think I found the problem now.

Yea, I like the swarm ships too. I have the normal fight limited to 5 ships at max. Only quests of special fights have more.

Yea. I think we overlooked on Ramming damage when we went from 2.5 to 2.6. I thought making ramming damage depends on health would be a fun mechanic. As you need to get close to enemies, you likely want lots and lots of health. So if you want a ship focused on ramming, upgrading your hull is the way...
